This year the club has seen several major changes. The creation of a SWGDC President and the change of status of Vice Chairman to that of a Club Officer.

Our secretary recently stepped down and I should like to take this opportunity to thank May Phelan for her services to the club.

In addition Scott Pearson has moved to fields anew and because of the distance involved has resigned from committee. I also thank him for his time and commitment.

A warm welcome to Tony Rewston as our first President, to Tim Lewis to the office of Vice Chairman, to Sally Lewis as Acting Secretary and to our newly elected Treasurer Jill Daly.

Steve and Ann Bell have been elected to join our hard working committee and I include my thanks to existing unnamed committee members who work tirelessly to make this club the success that it is.

I am delighted to report that our Championship and Open Shows this year had increased entries and we had an unprecedented record attendance at the League Finals.

The SWGDC were pleased to sponsor the Danes classes at Paignton Championship Show 2007, unfortunately no tickets, but a good entry was received.

My thanks to everyone for your invaluable support, we do appreciate it!
